I’m thrilled to share that I have joined Patreon! This will allow me to talk about what I am currently working on in a private forum, but ALSO provide you with early access to stories and videos!
What Is Patreon?
Patreon is a platform that allows artists and creators to build a space where they can offer exclusive content and also early access to content before it is distributed publicly or published (like an ebook on Amazon).
I first learned of the platform through my husband (who is a maker) because many of the crafts people he watches online (DIY videos) also have Patreon platforms. It’s very cool!
There are people who want to support me as an independent, self-published author and I am deeply grateful. Since Door to Door’s publication, I experienced such great support and cheering on. I know many if those wonderful supporters – and others who are just joining in – would be keenly interested in taking a more active role in this exciting journey. So, I established my Patreon platform. 🙂
There Are Three Different Membership Options
I wanted to offer three levels for supporters to choose from when they land on my Patreon page. Each level is at a cost-friendly monthly fee. They are (full details below the image):
Open the Door, $3 per month
This level is priced at a mere $3.00 (USD) per month – it’s an easy way to show your support for fun, fast-paced tales while I work on book two in the Door to Door Mystery series! And, you will get an exclusive update at least once per month on what’s going on “behind the scenes” while I write!
Foot in the Door, $7 per month
For only $7.00 (USD) per month, lucky patrons get to guide how characters navigate the journey from trouble to resolution!
The current “participation” story is a novella called Templeton’s Tale. It’s an off-shoot of the Emily Swift Door to Door Mystery Series.
This level also allows you to “play along” by voting on many of the main character’s choices throughout the story. (I will serve as tie breaking vote if necessary.)
Early Access! You’ll get a “sneak peek” of the story BEFORE it lists for sale on Amazon! (You get to read each chapter after it’s written!)
The Door’s Open, Come In, $12 per month
At a perfectly priced $12.00 per month you get everything offered in the two previous levels…
PLUS: Your name and city/state listed in the published ebook’s acknowledgements as an Honored Door to Door Patron. (Must be at this level for at least two months in a row.)
EVEN MORE: I will read each chapter to patrons at this level in exclusive videos only accessible at this level.
