đĽThank you to author Elen Chase for her 5-star review of Crossing the Witchline, book 2 in the adult dark fantasy Bellerose Witchline series!
The author never disappoints –Â Iâm not new to T. L. Brownâs books and I know by now that they never disappoint.
Crossing the Witchline picks up where book 1 left off, and things arenât easy for Lucie. The man she could have fallen in love with has disappeared, and could be dead; her best friend is alive, but clearly not the same; the other witches, who should have been her community, her family, have turned their backs on her.
Lucie is alone, fighting an evil that is so much bigger than her, but she faces all hardship with strength. The witches wonât help? Fine, sheâll summon a demon who will. Thatâs just how cool this woman is.
This series maintains its dark themes and the triggers should not be taken lightly, but the author has blessed us with a new character that brings much needed âlightâ relief into this dramatic and enticing story. Flame has quickly become a new favorite of mine and I hope heâll keep shining throughout the rest of the series!
The story is full of twists and events, but I have to confess that the twist at the end is my absolute favorite. Now I just have to patiently wait for book 3, which canât come soon enough!
