Day 5 of Jodi May’s artfully analytical #WIPandTheSenses Instagram writing challenge!
🖐️Here’s my post exploring “touch.” I LOVE this one because Lucie is very “hands on” and many of my characters end up being physically demonstrative. Ironically, Templeton is a very hands-OFF kind of guy. But… is Lucie his exception? Maybe you should read A Thin Witchline Between Love & Hate and find out! 😆 Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09VVCLXPX
In the meantime… what might someone feel under their fingertips, over their skin, and inside themselves when in Lucie Bellerose’s world?
Flakes of salt between your fingertips. A belly full of buzzing bees = big nerves. Missing those dark, soft curls. Sunshine cascading over his face – finally. 🔥Lucie 🔥His door travel energy feels so different. What’s harder? The conversation that you’re having… or the porch chair you’re sitting on? Stroking his face, touching this new five o’clock shadow. Feeling the thin shadows crawling over your skin like large, dark silverfish. *shudder*

What this is about?
Jodi’s challenge (on Instagram as @JodiMay15) offers writers the chance to view their WIPs through the lenses of: look, smell, sound, taste, touch, and feel… and for me it’s all about my new series with main character Lucie Bellerose and my current WIP, Crossing the Witchline.
