Rabbits (or the Rabbit network) reside in the Salesman Empire.
All Rabbits are called… Rabbit.
What They Are
Anne Lace describes the Rabbits in book one:
“The best way to describe the Rabbits, well, they’re sort of a group of informal dealers in information. They’re unusual like the Salesmen are unusual. But there’s no central structure, and they end up being quite the nomadic creatures. Not quite gypsies, and incredibly well-connected to one another. They are also notoriously hard to find unless they want to be found.”
In book one, Emily observes during a conversation with “her Rabbit“:
His phone buzzed. He dug it from his pocket to read the feed. Wait a minute…
“How come your phone works?” I frowned. “I didn’t think there were any towers here.”
“Who needs a tower?” He tapped a message into his phone.
Emily Swift describes “her Rabbit” and “the Rabbits” in book two:
But Rabbit had no real address. None of the Rabbits did. You couldn’t just message a Rabbit. Unless you were a Rabbit. They have an awesome network.
