Salesmen (women and men) make up a network of travelers who transport magical and mundane items from those who sell them, to those who buy or barter for them. They travel from place-to-place and even world-to-world simply by stepping through the “right” door.
Salesmen are “born” with this ability. The power (door travel) is passed down from the parent who is a Salesman to their first born (or only) child.
Salesmen can reside both in and outside of the Empire. They are governed by the Salesman Court and Empire leadership. Salesmen receive an official top hat permitting door travel when recognized by the Salesman Court. The top hat is registered with the Empire.
