Door travel allows Salesman to travel from place-to-place or even world-to-world simply by stepping through the “right” door.
Salesman Emily Swift explains:
I learned that the “right” door was not necessarily a door leading to one specific place at all times. No, the ‘right’ door was simply the door you could more strongly tune into and travel through.
If there were five doors on a wall, any door might take me to my favorite restaurant, but it was dependent upon which door I could connect with in the moment. I could go through door three and travel to Buffalo. I could use the same door and travel to Anne’s coffee shop in downtown Kincaid.
Door travel wasn’t without limitations, however. Salesmen weren’t allowed to door travel into restricted places. In other words, visiting the White House without permission was a big no-no.
